Do managers approve every change?
By default, yes: the rota only changes when a manager approves. Each location can let claimed offers and open shifts go straight onto the rota, and the rota rules are still checked first.
Who can take a shift?
Only colleagues the rota rules allow: the right role, no clashing shift and no approved time off, plus enough rest between shifts where your branch enforces the 11-hour minimum. Anyone who can't take it sees why.
What happens when I approve?
The shift moves to its new person on the rota and both of them are notified. The request, the checks and your decision stay on record.
Can I approve swaps by just asking?
