How do I make a weekly timesheet?
List the days of the week and, for each one, record the start time, finish time and any unpaid break. Subtract the break from the shift length to get daily hours, then add the days together for the weekly total. This free template does the totals for you.
Is this timesheet template free?
Yes. You can fill in a full week, total the hours and download it as a CSV or copy it as text without signing up or entering an email.
Does it calculate hours with breaks?
Yes. Enter an unpaid break in minutes for each day and it's deducted from that day's worked hours automatically. Overnight shifts that finish after midnight are handled correctly.
Can it work out pay?
Add an optional hourly rate and the template estimates gross weekly pay from the total hours. It's an estimate only — it doesn't calculate tax, National Insurance, pensions or holiday pay.
Can I download or print the timesheet?
Yes. Use CSV to download a spreadsheet-ready file, or Copy as text to paste the timesheet into a document, email or message.
How is this better than a spreadsheet timesheet?
The hours total automatically with no formulas to break, and unpaid breaks and overnight shifts are handled for you. When you're ready to stop collecting timesheets by hand, Weekola builds them from real attendance records.
Can Weekola create timesheets automatically?
Yes. Weekola turns clock-in and clock-out records into reviewed timesheets, so you check exceptions instead of retyping hours from paper or memory each week.
Does it work for any business?
Yes. It suits cafés, restaurants, bars, shops, salons and any small team that records hours weekly. Fill in whatever days and hours your staff actually work.
